PA Oil & Gas Industrial Facilities: Permit Notices, Opportunities To Comment - February 10

The following DEP notices were published in the
February 10 PA Bulletin related to oil and gas industry facilities.  Many of the notices offer the opportunity for public comments.

Land Recycling/Brownfield Cleanups

-- Chesapeake Appalachia LLC - Sensinger Shale Gas Well Pad: DEP received a Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated with production wastewater to the Statewide Health Standards at the well pad located in Franklin Twp., Bradford County. (PA Bulletin, page 682)

-- Standing Stone Water Treatment Facility: DEP received a Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated with oil and gas wastewater to the Statewide Health Standards at the facility located in Standing Stone Twp., Bradford County. (PA Bulletin, page 682)

-- Chesapeake Appalachia LLC - Parys Water Impoundment: DEP received a Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated with diesel fuel to the Statewide Health Standard for the facility located in Tuscarora Twp., Bradford County.  (PA Bulletin, page 682)

-- Chesapeake Appalachia LLC - Grippo Shale Gas Well Pad: DEP approved a Final Report on  remediation of soil contaminated with production wastewater to the Statewide Health Standards at the well pad located in Terry Twp., Bradford County. (PA Bulletin, page 683)

-- Chesapeake Appalachia LLC - Crain Shale Gas Well Pad: DEP approved a Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated with methanol to the Statewide Health Standards at the well pad located in Rome Twp., Branford County.  (PA Bulletin, page 684)

-- Chesapeake Appalachia LLC - Deremer Shale Gas Well Pad: DEP approved a Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated with production wastewater to the Statewide Health Standards at the well pad located in Tuscarora Twp., Bradford County.  (PA Bulletin, page 684)

-- ELV Energy Services - Diesel Fuel Release: DEP approved a Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated with diesel fuel to the Statewide Health Standards at a location in Union Twp., Tioga County.  (PA Bulletin, page 684)

-- EQT ARO LLC - Bodine Mountain Road Release: DEP approved a Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated with production wastewater to the Statewide Health Standards at a location in McIntyre Twp., Lycoming County.  (PA Bulletin, page 684)

-- National Fuel Gas - Clark Compressor Station: DEP approved a Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated with production wastewater to the Statewide Health Standards at a location in Sullivan Twp., Tioga County.  (PA Bulletin, page 684)

-- Range Resources-Appalachia, LLC - Laurel Hill Shale Gas Well Pad: DEP approved a Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated with production wastewater to the Statewide Health Standard at the facility located in Cogan House Twp., Lycoming County. (PA Bulletin, page 684)

-- Repsol Oil & Gas USA, LLC - Shaw Shale Gas Well Pad: DEP approved a Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated with production wastewater to the Statewide Health Standard at the well pad located in Rush Twp., Susquehanna County. (PA Bulletin, page 685)

-- Diversified Production, LLC - State Game Lands 244-22: DEP approved a Final Report on the remediation of soil contaminated with aluminum, barium, boron, chloride, iron, lithium, manganese, selenium, strontium, vanadium, and zinc to the Statewide Health Standard at the well site located in McCalmont Twp., Jefferson County.  (PA Bulletin, page 685)

-- Diversified Production, LLC - Hetrick Shale Gas Well Pad: DEP issued a technical deficiency letter on the Final Report on remediation of soil contaminated with Aluminum, Barium, Boron, Chloride, Iron, Lithium, Manganese, Selenium, Strontium, Vanadium, and Zinc to the Statewide Health Standard at the pad located in Washington Twp., Jefferson County.  (PA Bulletin, page 685)
