The Foundation for Sustainable Forests will host the second part of its virtual Our Woods and Waters Film Series on February 12 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The feature film is a one-hour documentary-- Intelligent Trees - A Journey Into The Wood Wide Web-- about how trees communicate with each other, featuring forester and bestselling author Peter Wohlleben-- The Hidden Life of Trees-- and forest ecologist Professor Simard from The University of British Columbia.
The screening of this film is made possible by the generous sponsorship of Jim & Connie Thompson of Williamsburg, Virginia.
Two other short films will also be presented, including the Voice Above Water. The director of the film-- Dana Frankoff-- will be offering her insights on the film and will be available to answer questions.
