The Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay and the Forests For The Bay Program will host a Woods In Your Backyard Field Day: Working With Young Forests and Old Fields Workshop on August 27 in West Decatur, Clearfield County.
The field day is appropriate for anyone interested in forest management, wildlife habitat improvement, and conservation, but particularly smaller woodlot owners those with 50 acres or less.
If you own land that is forested, has natural areas, or you are interested in turning mowed lawn into natural areas then please plan to attend.
The workshop will be held at the Four Paws Farm, 530 Hartman Road, West Decatur, and is co-sponsored by the ClearWater Conservancy and Penn State Extension.
