The Department of Environmental Protection has scheduled a public hearing on the revised NPDES water quality permit for the Consol Bailey Coal Refuse Disposal Area in Greene County on September 21. (Aug. 13 PA Bulletin, page 5024)
The hearing will be held held at the Morris Township Community Center, Nineveh, Greene County from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
Copies of the draft NPDES permit are on file for public review, by appointment, at the Department of Environmental Protection, District Mining Operations, 25 Technology Drive, California Technology Park, Coal Center, PA 15423, Phone: 724-769-1100.
